Over de functie
As an Operator, you are an important link in the production process. You ensure that the machines operate correctly, production runs smoothly and the quality of the finished product is maintained. You will set up machines, monitor the production process and take action when necessary. Because you will work with different products, machines and production runs, no two days are exactly the same.
Your responsibilities:
- Operating modern and partly automated production machines;
- Setting up and converting machines when changing products;
- Checking the quality of the finished product;
- Identifying and resolving first-line machine faults;
- Monitoring the production process and production progress;
- Recording production data, faults and other relevant information;
- Carrying out quality and safety checks;
- Working together with colleagues in production, logistics and the technical department;
- Keeping your workplace clean, organised and safe.
Under the guidance of an experienced operator, you will learn step by step how to operate the machines and become familiar with all aspects of the production process. You will have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and gradually take on more responsibility. Your certificates are also taken care of. If you do not yet have a VCA certificate, you can obtain one at Abiant's expense. After your training and onboarding period, you will have a solid foundation and will gradually be able to work more independently. - 06:00 – 14:30
- 14:30 – 23:00

- Initially, you will receive a contract through Abiant with a competitive monthly salary in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement (CAO), including shift allowance and excluding the 5.78% ADV allowance;

Wat wij vragen
We are looking for someone who:
- Has MBO level 3 working and thinking ability, preferably in a technical or production-related field;
- Has previous experience as an operator in a production environment;
- Holds a valid forklift certificate or is willing to obtain one in the short term;
- Has technical aptitude and an interest in machinery and automation;
- Is able to learn new machines and production processes quickly;
- Can understand Dutch well enough to follow instructions, safety procedures and communicate effectively with colleagues on the production floor. This is a mandatory requirement for the position;
- Has sufficient Dutch language skills to understand spoken instructions and safety-related communication. Being able to understand spoken Dutch is essential for this role;
- Is willing to work different shift schedules and with different teams;
- Works accurately and with a strong focus on safety.
